Getting started
Start guide
Get from a new account to a structured fund in about fifteen minutes. This guide walks through signing up, creating your organization, and starting your first fund.

Start your first fund
From the Overview page, create a new fund in Fund Builder. You can start from a blank structure or from one of the starter templates on the marketing page — either way, the builder walks you through the same set of decisions:
- Name the fund. You can change this at any time; nothing is locked until you crystallize legal documents.
- Pick the asset class and strategy. This tunes the defaults the builder proposes for everything downstream.
- Set the headline numbers. Target fund size, GP commitment, management fee, carried interest, and hurdle.
- Review the modeled outcome. The builder projects IRR and MOIC under your assumptions as you go, so you can see what each choice does to the economics.
You do not need to finish in one sitting — every decision is saved as you make it, and you can revisit any block later.
Tell the story, then paper it
Once the structure is in place:
- Open Scroll Deck to turn your fund into a shareable pitch. The deck pulls terms straight from your structure, so it is never stale.
- Open Legal Canvas when you are ready to draft the LPA, PPM, and subscription documents that match what you built.
Invite your team
Head to Team to invite co-founders, operations staff, or counsel into your organization. Roles control what each member can see and change — see .
Working solo for now? Skip this step. Everything in Fund Launch works for a team of one.
